I am a second year computer science PhD student in the Automated Reasoning for Narratives and Visuals (ARNAV) lab at North Carolina State University. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Generally speaking, I am primarily interested in exploring how advanced computational methods and systems can be applied to digital media (esp. digital games) and their design. I have also taken a significant interest in computational creativity and how existing theories of creativity can be operationalized in generative computational systems. Application areas of my research interests span artificial intelligence, natural language processing, game design, narrative generation, and cognitive systems.
